PEF 132 – 10/100Mbps PCI Fast Ethernet Network Board
The PEF 132 network board is a 32 bit device from the Fast Ethernet family enabling the connection of personal computers to data communication networks. It is compatible with PCI bus specification revision 2.1 and 2.2 and supports automatic configuration (plug-and-play) of IRQ and I/O address from the PC BIOS where it is being installed. It comes with a RJ-45 10/100Mbps port, with automatic speed negotiation, enabling it to reach transfer speeds of up to 200Mbps in Full-Duplex mode. It uses the renowned “single-chip” Realtek controller and supports the “PCI Bus Master” resource reducing the need for CPU processing from the computer where the network board is installed, thus optimizing general data communication performance. |
