In 1996, Intelbras was awarded ISO 9001 certification by the Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), an INMETRO accredited entity. ISO 9001 certification confirms the company’s implementation of a Quality Management System, with standardized processes subject to controls, guaranteeing the quality and continuous improvement of our processes and products, while offering our customers full satisfaction.

Intelbras works on the principle that good results can only be obtained through customer satisfaction, employee motivation, meeting the shareholders’ expectations and the continuous improvement to its processes and products.

At the end of 2006, Intelbras was awarded ISO14001 certification, once again by the Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), an INMETRO accredited entity, acknowledging that its projects, development, production, commercialization and installation processes as well as its services associated with telephones, PABX systems and telephone accessories follow the proper environmental  management parameters.

The company’s environmental policy is proof of its commitment to the environment, seeking to minimize negative impacts while continuously improving its activities and processes in the endeavor to provide the best environmental conditions possible for the company and its surroundings.

Projects such as PIPA (Intelbras’s Environmental Preservation Program) will contribute to the company’s solid waste management through the implementation of selective waste collection and adequate disposal of the waste generated by the company. These initiatives have resulted in environmental awards (Max Hablitzel, Fritz Muller Award) encouraging our employees to continue performing their activities in an ecologically correct manner. Environmental education is also a key point in Intelbras’ EMS. Through this activity, our employees and their families are provided with information on how to reduce their impact on the environment, not only at the company but also in their homes and communities. These and other activities have transformed Intelbras into a modern, conscientious and competitive company.
